Police arrest 8 illegal hunters in Ghor

KABUL (Pajhwok): Security forces have arrested eight persons for illegal hunting wild animals and birds in western Ghor province, police said on Tuesday.

Police spokesman Mawlawi Abdul Rahman Badri told Pajhwok Afghan News: “Security forces have arrested eight illegal hunters of mountain animals and wild birds”.

He said it was order of the government to deal legally with hunters.

The Prime Minister’s Office has banned hunting and smuggling of wild birds across the country.
