18 more buses grounded, extra seats removed

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation (MoTCA) has announced grounding another 18 passenger buses and removing extra seats from some.

MoTCA wrote on its X handle 283 buses were technically evaluated and substandard seats were removed from some vehicles.

Earlier, the ministry’s technical safety department had suspended the operation of 33 vehicles and removed extra and substandard seats from some others.

MoTCA said the process had been initiated to ensure the safety of passengers and provide standard services to them.
