KABUL (Pajhwok): The Economic Commission (EC) chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund has approved the construction the second Kabul-Jalalabad Road, according to a statement on Tuesday.
The Economic Commission granted approval for the construction of the second Kabul-Jalalabad road with a revenue-sharing agreement involving a toll plaza, the EC statement said.
During the Economic Commission’s regular meeting held on January 23rd at Marmarin Palace, various topics were discussed, including the construction of the second Kabul-Jalalabad road, the procurement of surplus wheat, the establishment of a tollgate complex in the eastern region . . .
