14-year-old boy commits suicide in Faryab

MAIMANA (Pajhwok): A 14-year-old youth has allegedly committed suicide in Gurziwan district of northern Faryab province.

The Faryab Police Headquarters in a statement said the boy, a resident of Ganj village, ended his life at his father’s stove manufacturing factory.

What prompted him to take the extreme step was yet to be known, but police are investigating, the statement said.
