6 Russian, Dutch tourists reach Nangarhar via Torkham

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Six Russian and Dutch tourists have arrived in eastern Nangarhar province via Torkham crossing from Pakistan, say local officials.

Mullah Abdul Jabbar Hekmat, Torkham commissioner, said the tourists from Russia and the Netherlands entered the country for tourism.

He said besides welcoming, the guests in Torkham were also assured of their safety and security and reminded that they could travel to 34 provinces of Afghanistan without any fear.

According to Hekmat, every foreign citizen who comes to Afghanistan for tourism, the Islamic Emirate provides facilities and safety to them.

Some foreign tourists also visited western Herat province to explore historical and ancient areas of the province on Monday.
