1,678 poor families get cash assistance in Panjsher

PARAKH (Pajhwok): Cash assistance has been distributed among 1,678 poor families in Anaba district of central Panjsher province.

Panjsher Information and Culture director Nasrullah Malikzada told Pajhwok that each family was given 13,600 afghanis.

The aid was distributed today and yesterday after a survey to identify deserving families.

Ashaina organization distributed the assistance provided by UNICEF.

UNICEF before this provided cash assistance to 1756 poor families in Rokha district.
