MAIMANA (Pajhwok): A young girl has allegedly committed suicide in Qaramqul district of northern Faryab province.
Faryab Governor’s Spokesman Ismatullah Muradi told Pajhwok an 18-year-old girl named Feroza ended her life in Taibolak village yesterday afternoon.
He quoted the girl’s father as saying that his daughter had a mental illness and a few days ago she was taken to hospital for treatment.
A resident of the area told Pajhwok that the girl’s fiance lived in Iran and the couple talked on phone the other day.
Another resident of the area, Qudratullah, killed himself in Iran . . .
