GARDEZ (Pajhwok): Culturists are concerned about the safety of historic artifacts at the museum in southeastern Paktia province because the museum has no proper building.
Poet Khugman Zazai told Pajhwok Afghan News all historic items were considered national wealth which must be preserved in a special and standard building.
“Such items are fragile and must be secure from all kinds of natural and other events that can destroy them”, he said.
He said the room where ancient artifacts were kept was not equipped with special cabinets and fire distinguishers.
