KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Five people have been publicly flogged by the primary court after being convicted of moral corruption in the Arghandab district of southern Kandahar province.
Mullah Abbas, deputy administrative chief for Arghandab district, told Pajhwok Afghan News that these five individuals accused of moral corruption were whipped after being convicted.
According to him, each of the convicts were lashed 39 times each and sentenced to two years imprisonment.
