KABUL (Pajhwok): Russia has invited Afghanistan’s top commerce officials to the upcoming Kazan meeting, says the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The acting minister of commerce and industry and the Afghanistan Chambers of Commerce and Investment (ACCI) director have been invited to the huddle.
The international economic forum is scheduled to take place from May 14 to May 19 in the Kazan city of Russia.
TASS news agency reported Russia's special representative for Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov had invited a delegation of the caretaker government to participate in the "Russia - Islamic World: Kazan Forum".
Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), told Pajhwok Afghan News Tatarstan republic head Rustam Minnikhanov invited Commerce Minister Nooruddin Aziz and ACCI Director Mohammad Younus Momand to participate in Kazan huddle.
