FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): One member of a family was killed and another wounded as a result of a grenade blast in Baharak district of northeastern Badakhshan province.
Police spokesman Ehsanullah Kamgar told Pajhwok Afghan News that the incident took place in Malang Aab area of the district at around 10:30am.
He said a young man was playing with the grenade that went off, killing him and injuring his grandfather.
