KABUL (Pajhwok): Russia's Ambassador Dmitry Zhirnov has invited Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Maulvi Abdul Kabir to participate in the Kazan Forum.
At a meeting here on Sunday, the two sides also conferred to bilateral ties between Moscow and Kabul, the deputy PM’s office said in a statement.
The statement quoted Zhirnov as saying: “The development of bilateral cooperation and interaction between the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) and Russia can lead to stability in the region and Afghanistan’s economic uplift.”
He said Moscow valued the views of the Afghan caretaker government in important international meetings . . .
