QALA-I-NAW (Pajhwok): Three people have been killed in three different incidents in western Badghis province, an official said on Tuesday.
Police spokesman Sediqullah Sediqi in a statement said that the body of an 11-year-old boy was recovered from water in the Lodyan area of Balamerghab district this morning.
In a similar incident, the body of a man was found who had drowned in in water of Nakhcharistan village of Tagab Alam district on Monday evening, he said.
Separately, unidentified gunmen shot dead a man in Khimi Jangal locality of Jawand district on Monday. The killers managed to flee the area, but security forces launched a manhunt to arrest them.
