JALALABAD (Pajhwok): The Torkham crossing has been reopened for all types of traffic and pedestrians, officials in eastern Nangarhar province say.
The crossing had been shut by Pakistani authorities three days ago due to the shifting of passport offices into new buildings.
Information and Culture Director Maulvi Seddiqullah Quraishi told Pajhwok Afghan News the route was reopened (Monday) at 7:30am for Afghan passengers and patients.
The crossing had been closed for transit cargo trucks over the past three days, he added.
