KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 21 undocumented Afghans have returned to the country after being released from jail in Karachi of Pakistan, the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR) said on Saturday.
On a post on X page, the ministry wrote that these Afghans who spent 21 to 71 days in prison of Karachi for lack of valid documents were freed and returned to the country.
It said: “Based on the information from Torkham Border Director in Nangarhar province, these people had been imprisoned for not having legal documents.”
