Indonesian Red Crescent invites ARCS head to visit Jakarta

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Indonesian Red Crescent chief has invited acting head of the Afghan Red Crescent Society Maulvi Matiul Haq Khalis to visit Jakarta.

ARCS wrote on its X handle Khalis met with Head of Indonesian Red Crescent Mohammad Yousuf Kala.

In a meeting, the two sides discussed further acceleration of joint efforts and cooperation.

Khalis appreciated the $300,000 cash aid from Indonesia for Herat earthquake victims.

Yusuf Kala and his delegation appreciated the services of the Afghan Red Crescent Society and stressed the need for cooperation between the two countries.

Kala invited Khalis to meet heads of different charity organisations to explain ARCS activities and seek help from for needy Afghans.

The Indonesian delegation arrived in Kabul two days ago and had meetings and discussions with top Islamic Emirate officials.
