KABUL (Pajhwok): Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) supreme leader Maulvi Haibatullah Akhunzada emphasised the importance of unity, solidarity and brotherhood among Afghans.

The supreme leader extended his warm Eid-ul-Adha greetings to all Afghans and Muslims.

Zabihullah Mujahid, chief spokesman of the IEA, wrote on his X that the leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Amirul Momineen Sheikhul Hadith Haibatullah Akhundzada led the Eid-ul-Adha prayer in the central Eidgah of Kandahar, which was attended by thousands of people.

He said Eid days were auspicious days, all the differences must be left behind and choose the path of reconciliation and solidarity.

“Hypocrisy is a Pharaonic politics because in this politics, it is the law to divide the people into groups and the government into factions, but the Islamic system does not want disunity and differences,” he added.

He asked the religious scholars to convert the differences and conflicts among people into friendship and persuade them to maintain a peaceful life.

Akhundzada reminded all officials, and they were servants of the people and encouraged them to serve the people.

He also underlined the significance of upholding women’s Sharia rights and urged everyone to make a personal commitment to ensure that their sisters, mothers, and daughters are granted their rightful rights.

Referring to the situation in Palestine, the supreme leader says the east and west, which want to dominate the world, do not say anything about what is going on against Muslims in Palestine, they turn a blind eye to it and are silent.
