KABUL (Pajhwok): Donated by the European Union (EU), 98 tonnes of medical equipment arrived in Kabul on Monday, an official said.
EU Chargé d'affaires Raffaella Iodice wrote on her X handle: “Very good news about today's arrival of 98 tons of emergency medical supplies via the EU Humanitarian Air Bridge to #Afghanistan “ .”
She said: “From helping children recover from malnutrition to treating wounded patients - medical items save lives and help those still affected by floods.”
Since 2021, the EU sent 36 flights carrying 1750 tonnes of aid to Afghanistan.
