KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) and the National Development Company (NDC) on Sunday inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on working together to generate employment opportunities in the research field for students of master’s and Ph.D level.
The MoU was signed int the presence of MoHE and NDC officials in Kabul.
Students of master degree and Ph.D will be provided with work opportunities on some research projects under the agreement.
Faizanul-Haq Faizan, NDC’s trade and investment director, said that a number of top students would be employed at the NDC company as per its capacity.
NDC executive director Abdul Rahman Attash said the agreement will pave the way for practical work by students in the research field and they would work on projects they study theatrically in universities.
Acting Higher Education Minister Sheikh Neda Mohammad Nadeem hoped the agreement would help the students improve their skills in practical field.
NDC is a newly established company and has four years of experience in fields of construction of dams, public welfare buildings, agriculture and extraction of mines.
The company is currently working on 589 projects nationwide.
