KABUL (Pajhwok): Heavy rains, lightning, floods and rising water level in rivers are predicted over the next three days in 16 provinces of the country.
The Ministry of Transportation and Aviation wrote on X there was possibility of heavy rains, lightning and flash floods in Badakhshan, Nuristan, Kunar, Laghman, Nangarhar, Logar, Paktia, Khost, Paktika, Panjsher, Kapisa, Kabul, Maidan Wardak, Zabul, Kandahar and Ghazni provinces.
The ministry said 15mm to 40mm rain could lash different areas in the northern, western, southern, eastern and central provinces, including Salang.
The ministry predicted strong winds with dust speeding between 50 to 80 kilometers per hour in different places.
