CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): At least two people, including a child, have been killed and as many others wounded as a result of a traffic accident in central Kapisa province, an official said on Thursday.
Police spokesman Abdul Fatah Faez told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident took place on Wednesday when a vehicle veered off the road and overturned in Alasai district.
He said a 40-year-old woman and a child lost their lives and a woman and the driver of the vehicle were wounded in the incident.
He added the injured were evacuated to a Kabul hospital for medical treatment.
Last week, at least 12 people had been killed and injured in two separate traffic accidents in the same province.
