Kiwi squad named for Test against Afghanistan

KABUL (Pajhwok): The New Zealand Cricket has named a 15-member squad for a one-off Test against Afghanistan.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) wrote on its Facebook page experienced fast bowler Tim Southee would lead the Black Caps in the Test, beginning from September 9 at the Greater Noida Sports Complex Ground.

Squad:

Tim Southee (c), Tom Blundell (wk), Michael Bracewell, Devon Conway, Matt Henry, Tom Latham (vc), Daryl Mitchell, Will O’Rourke, Ajaz Patel, Glenn Phillips, Rachin Ravindra, Mitchell Santner, Ben Sears, Kane Williamson, Will Young.

However, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has not announced squad for the maiden Test match so far.
