KABUL (Pajhwok): Efforts underway to address the water shortage issue of capital Kabul on permanent bases, a statement said on Tuesday.
Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Kabir said this during a meeting with elders and religious scholars from the 15<sup>th</sup> Municipality District of Kabul City.
The visiting religious scholars and elders shared the problems of the residents of the Qasba area of Kabul city with the deputy prime minister requested to solve the problems of drinking water and residential towns.
He said government agencies and officials were at the service of the nation and based on the policy of the Islamic Emirate, the doors of all government agencies are open to the people.
He said necessary recommendations have been issued to the relevant institutions to find suitable solutions to the existing problems in Qasaba locality after consultation with the people.
Deputy prime minister pledged that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) strived to address the drinking water shortage issue of Kabul City on permanent bases.
