1 dies, 6 wounded in Ghazni traffic accidents

GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): One person died and six others were injured in separate traffic accidents in southern Ghazni province, an official said on Saturday.

Police spokesman Abu Khalid Sarhadi told Pajhwok Afghan News the first accident took place when two passenger buses collided head-on in first police district of Ghazni city.

The collision left one person dead and three others injured, he added.

Separately, Sarhadi said a vehicle collided with a motorbike on the Ghazni-Paktia highway in third police district, injuring three people.

According to him, the injured have been evacuated to hospital and the accidents occured due to reckless driving.

On Friday, four people suffered casualties in an accident in the province.
