Heavy rain, flash floods predicted in 15 provinces

KABUL (Pajhwok): Heavy rains, lightning, floods and rising water level in rivers are predicted tomorrow (Sunday) in 15 provinces of the country.

The Ministry of Transportation and Aviation wrote on X there was possibility of heavy rains, lightning and flash floods in Badakhshan, Nuristan, Kunar, Nangarhar, Laghman, Kabul, Logar, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni, Paktia, Khost, Paktika, Zabul Uruzgan and Kandahar provinces.

The ministry said 15mm to 30mm rain could lash different areas in the northern, western, southern, eastern and central provinces, including Salang.

The ministry predicted strong winds with dust speeding between 50 to 80 kilometers per hour in different places.
