30 players picked for national table tennis team

KABUL (Pajhwok): Thirty players in three different age categories have been selected for the national table tennis team, a statement said on Sunday.

The National Olympic and Sports Department on its x.com wrote the trial competitions to select table tennis players have been concluded.

The competitions were underway from the past four days at the Physical Sport Gymnasium, he said.

Eighty players from 16 provinces have participated in these competitions which were held in the teenage, youth and seniors categories.

A total of 30 players have been selected for the national table tennis team.
