Freefighter Nazhand defeats Czech opponent

KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghan freefighter Wahidullah Nazhand defeated his Czech rival Max Handanjic with a submission in Oberhausen city.

Nazhand wrote on his Facebook account that the match was played on September 7 in Germany’s city.

Nazhand thrashed his opponent in the first round with a submission move in the 60^th round of the Octagon organization's open fighting competition at the Rudolf Weber Arena.

The Afghan athlete had defeated his Czech rival Jacob Bhinak in March 23.

Nazhand is the first Afghan freefighter that played in Octagon organization.
