Weapons seized, 30 suspects held in Kapisa

KABUL (Pajhwok): Security forces in central Kapisa province have seized 114 weapons, including light and heavy arms, landmines, and arrested 30 individuals.

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) wrote on X that counter-terrorism police captured a large cache of weapons and ammunition during a search operation.

The seized arms included 76 Kalashnikovs, 33 pistols, five heavy weapons, 18 landmines, and over 8,000 various bullets.

Additionally, eight suspects were detained in Mir Bachkot district, as well as in the 12th and 4th police districts of Kabul, in connection with narcotics.

Hafiz Musa Kalim, director of counter-narcotics, said that the cases of the detainees would be referred to the relevant authorities.
