HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): At least nine members of a family, including women and children, have been killed as a result of a traffic accident in western Herat province, an official said on Thursday.
Mufti Yousaf Saeedi, the governor’s spokesman, said the accident took place on Wednesday when a car collided with a passenger bus on the Herat-Farah highway.
He said nine-members of a family, including two women and four children, lost their lives in the collision.
On Tuesday, a woman had been killed and three others had been wounded in a traffic accident in the same province.
