30 Afghans released from Pakistani jails

KABUL (Pajhwok): Thirty Afghans have been released from Pakistani jails and returned to the county, a statement said on Wednesday.

These individuals were imprisoned for up to 40 days in Pakistani jails due to the lack of proper documents, a statement from the Border Affairs Department in Torkham said.

Through inter-pol these Afghans entered Afghanistan via Torkham and referred the UNRC for necessary assistance.

This comes that earlier the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation also announced the release of 28 Afghans from Pakistani jails.
