KABUL (Pajhwok): The ACC Emerging Teams T20 Asia Cup is all set to kick off tomorrow (Friday) in Oman.
The opener of the tournament would be played between Bangladesh-A and Hong Kong-A.
Afghanistan-A will take on Sri Lanka in the second match of short-format event, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) wrote on its Facebook page.
It said the national squad would meet Bangladesh in their second group-stage match on October 20.
Eight teams, participating in the tournament, have been divided into two groups. Afghanistan-A are placed in Group A alongside Sri Lanka-A, Bangladesh-A and Hong Kong.
India-A, Pakistan-A, The United Arab Emirates and Oman are placed in Group B.
Earlier, the national squad won the Tri-Nation T20 series, involving Afghanistan-A, Oman-A and Hong Kong-A.
