Germany gives Afghanistan $11m in aid

KABUL (Pajhwok): Germany has contributed EUR 10 million (US$11.2 million) to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund, says the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA).

OCHA wrote on its X platform: “#OCHAthanks #Germany for its generous contribution of EUR 10 million (US$11.2 million) to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund for 2024”.

“Your continued support is saving lives in #Afghanistan”:.

Earlier, the UK contributed six million pounds to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund on September 12.
