AIBAK (Pajhwok): A miner has been killed as a result of a coalmine collapse in Dara-i-Sauf Bala district of northern Samangan province, an official said on Saturday.
Police spokesman Hashmatullah Rahmani told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in Be To Gorg Tor village of the district on Friday.
He said a young coalminer lost his life in the incident.
Earlier, three workers died of suffocation in a coalmine in the same district.
