KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Commerce and Industry says a four-day Afghan-Kazakh international exhibition has been launched in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
MoCI wrote on X handle the Afghan-Kazakh international exhibition was opened by Acting Minister Nooruddin Azizi and Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Serik Jomangarin.
Afghan entrepreneurs and businessmen have put on display their products at the exhibition.
At the opening ceremony, Azizi asked Kazakhstan and other countries to support and provide necessary facilities for development Afghanistan’s exports and easy access to high-quality Afghan products in the region.
“This exhibition has a positive effect on increasing trade relations between the two countries”: he added.
The acting minister also visited Khargos port; the world’s largest located on the border between China and Kazakhstan and China’s ambitious ‘One Belt and One Road’ project also passes through this area and connects to the European continent.
Afghan entrepreneurs and businessmen have showcased their products at 67 booths at the exhibition.
Nuruddin Azizi with more than 250 people, including government officials and members of the private sector, went to Kazakhstan on October 18 to attend the exhibition.
