KABUL (Pajhwok): Kyrgyzstan defeated Afghanistan 3-1 in their fifth match at the Central Asian Volleyball Association Championship (CAVAC).
The match was played today (Wednesday) in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
Earlier, the national squad trounced the Maldives in the tournament.
However, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan had trounced Afghanistan in their first and second matches in the mega event.
The championship got underway on October 18 in Uzbekistan and would continue until 25th of the same month.
