KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR) has signed three agreements worth more than $638,000 with three non-governmental organisations.
On X, MoRR wrote it signed the agreements with Humanitarian Charity, Academic Research and Development Society and ACTED.
The accords with a total value of 638,056 US dollars were signed by Maulvi Abdul Rahman Rashid, deputy minister, and representatives of the organisations.
Under one of the agreement s, “Humanitarian Charity” will spend 476,685 dollars on building shelters in southern Kandahar benefiting 802 returning families. ACTED will provide services worth 99,849 dollars for 100 people in carpet processing sector in northern Balkh province.
The Academic Research and Development Society will allocate 27,320 dollars for distribution of food and counseling in northern Baghlan province, which will benefit 615 returnees.
Before this, MoRR signed an agreement with an institution worth more than $133,700 on October 9.
