Omari wins silver medal in Maldives bodybuilding contest

KABUL (Pajhwok): Hamidullah Omari has won silver medal in body fitness competitions underway in the Maldives, the Afghanistan Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (AFBBF) said on Saturday.

AFBBF wrote on its Facebook page that Hamidullah Omari won silver medal in the 15^th world fitness championship in 85kgs category.

Meanwhile, a day earlier Alireza Asahi, another Afghan athlete, won a gold medal in adult category.

The 15^th round of world bodybuilding and fitness competition kicked off in Maldives on Friday and nine Afghan athletes are participating in the event.
