Week-long volleyball event kicks off in Daikundi

NEILI (Pajhwok): A week-long volleyball tournament, featuring seven teams, has kicked off in Neili, the capital of central Daikundi province, an official announced on Saturday.

Director of Sports and Physical Training Naseer Haqiqat said the tournament, which got under way on Friday, would continue for a week.

Supported by the Information and Culture Department, the event is aimed to encourage youth into healthy activities and promote sports in the province.
