3 houses destroyed as 22 rocket shells explode in Balkh

MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): Three houses have been destroyed due to the explosion of 22 rocket shells in northern Balkh province, police said on Saturday.

The police headquarters said the incident happened after a gas cylinder blast that triggered the explosion of 22 rocket shells stored in a house in the Bist Pikal village of Chahar Bolak district.

In a brief statement, the police headquarters said the explosion caused no casualties, but destroyed three civilian houses in the area.
