Single center to process export documents opens in Balkh

MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): A single center has been established to process export documents to facilitate traders, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said on Saturday.

This center has been established at the Chamber of Commerce and Investment Department and Acting Minister Noorddin Azizi, Balkh officials and traders attended the opening ceremony today.

Nooruddin Azizi said the ‘One-Stop Shop’ center was established to facilitate the transportation of export goods.

The MoCI designed this center electronically and businessmen can process their documents even from homes, he added.

On the other hand, Deputy Director for Chamber of Commerce and Investment Nasir Ahmad Arab welcomed the establishment of the center and explained it would help businessmen process export documents in one day.

According to Arab, this process had been complicated in the past, causing obstacles and delays in business operations.

Meanwhile, deputy governor Noorul Haqi Abu Edris assured traders of day-night support.
