KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan U-19 and Bangladesh U-19 are set to meet in the ACC Men’s U-19 Asia Cup opener tomorrow (Friday) at Dubai Cricket Stadium.
The match would commence at 9:30am local time, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) wrote on its Facebook page.
The national squad will meet Sri Lanka U-19 in their second group stage match on December 1.
Eight teams, participating in the ACC Men’s U-19 Asia Cup have been divided into two groups.
Arch-rivals India and Pakistan are placed in Group A along with the hosts United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Japan.
Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh are placed in Group B. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals.
Both semifinals will be played on December 6 whereas the final clash is scheduled for December 8 in Dubai.
