Nimroz prisoners being trained in solar power system

ZARANJ (Pajhwok): A three-month ‘solar power system’ training program for prisoners has been launched in northwestern Nimroz province, an official said on Thursday.

At the opening ceremony, head of technical and professional education Mualvi Nazifullah Osmani said 33 prisoners will be trained by professional instructors in the three-month long training program.

The program was aimed at providing jobs for prisoners, he added.

Deputy Governor Syed Sulaiman Agha Bahir considered prison a place of reform, repentance, and regret for committing crimes, and asked prisoners to make good use of this educational program.
