Afghan Ambassador in Islamabad Sardar Ahmad Shakib and Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar discussed subjects of common interest at a meeting.
In a post on X, the Afghan embassy in Islamabad said Shakib held separate meetings on Monday with Dar and Pakistan’s recently re-appointed special envoy for Afghanistan.
Bilateral ties between Islamabad and Kabul, trade, regional connectivity and issues being faced by Afghan students in Pakistan came up for discussion.
The embassy did not provide further details about the meetings.
