1 killed, 4 wounded in Faryab collision

MAIMANA (Pajhwok): A man has been killed and four others have been wounded as a result of a traffic accident in northern Faryab province, an official said on Thursday.

Shirin Tagab district police chief Qari Gul Mohammad Niazai told Pajhwok Afghan News two cars collided in Islam Qala area on Wednesday night.

He said a man lost his life and four others were wounded in the collision. The injured were evacuated to the district hospital for medical treatment.

Two of the injured were in critical condition, said Amanullah, giving an eyewitness account.
