KABUL (Pajhwok): The leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) for the first time has ordered the construction of general hospitals in 318 districts of the country, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has said.
On its x.com, the MoPH said that according to the ministry’s proposal, more than six billion afs have been approved from the internal budget of the IEA for the first time to build general hospitals in 318 districts of the country.
The ministry added that the procurement process for the construction of these hospitals has begun through a transparent process in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration of the Ministry of Public Health, Mullah Bakht-ur-Rahman Sharafat.
According to the ministry, the procurement process for five hospitals in Logar, Ghazni, and Farah provinces has been completed and the practical work of their construction will begin in the near future.
