Water management remains govt’s top priority: Mullah Beradar

PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar has said that water management was government’s top priority and trade relations with neighbouring countries were promoted on the bases of need.

Mullah Beradar made the comment during a meeting with local officials in central Logar province.

Governor Mawlavi Ziaurrahman Madani shared with Mullah Beradar the problems of residents in the area of education, health, agriculture and water management.

He said the past few decades’ conflict inflicted heavy losses on residents and there was need for greater attention to be paid to the problems of this province.

The deputy prime minister for economic affairs said that the IEA served the people indiscriminately.

He said water management was government’s top priority and government has many achievements lately in this area.

He said IEA enjoyed cordial ties with the neighbouring countries and there was need for the promotion of trade relationship based on needs.

He promised with the people of Logar to address their problems.
