LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): At least two people have been killed and four others injured in a traffic accident on the Kabul-Kandahar highway in southern Helmand province, an official said on Saturday.
Hafiz Abdul Bari Rashid, Director of Culture and Information, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the accident occurred on Friday afternoon in the Sangin Dorahi area, where three vehicles collided.
He said that two people lost their lives and four others were injured. The wounded individuals were transported to the hospital by local officials.
Rashid did not provide details regarding the identities of the victims or the types of vehicles involved.
