KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 38 people have been killed and eight others injured as a result of a traffic accident in southeastern Brazil, a media report said on Sunday.
VOA reported the accident took place in Minas Gerais state on Saturday when a piece of granite stone from a truck hit a bus. After the collision, the bus caught fire.
At least 38 people lost their lives and eight others were injured in the accident, the report added.
Brazilian President LuizInácio Lula da Silva called the accident a tragedy and expressed his condolences to families of the victims.
