KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): Four people have been killed as a result of a gas cylinder blast in southeastern Khost province, police said on Saturday.
Tahir Ahrar, Khost police spokesman told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast ignited a fire in a residential building in the provincial capital.
A woman and three children were killed in the explosion in the second police district of Khost City Ahrar said.
Firefighters from the police headquarters rushed to the building and prevented the fire from spreading to other parts of the building, the official added.
