BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): All highways connecting Bamyan province to other parts of the country have been reopened after two days of closure due to heavy snowfall, an official announced on Saturday.
The governor’s spokesman told Pajhwok Afghan News some of the highways linking Bamyan with other provinces had been closed for traffic two days ago due to heavy snowfall and storms.
Abdul Saboor Farzan Sighani said the roads linking Bamyan City with Kabul, Daikundi, Yakawlang-Punjab, Waras- Pul-i-Bandshoi, Saighan-Aaq and Rubat had reopened for traffic.
He added all problems had been resolved, and the roads were open for commuters.
